What the people think

When the quarry blast it is like an earthquake.I am angry that the quarry is going to be blasting 150m from school which releases Silica dust into the air. Children should not be exposed to this at a young age which causes Asthma & COPD.

My family lived in Pearson Crescent in 1962 before moving to Conway Close in 1978. Conway Close is where I was brought up until I was 18. The mountain meant a lot to me growing up and still does to this day. I can not understand after all the health benefits of green spaces and looking after our wellbeing we are losing even more land. I feel for the residents as my only loss from this is memories and a place where I go to relax and enjoy the countryside.
